‘Unveiling – Brothers in Racing’ at Vincenzo Ristorante Italiano
I was recently invited to the ‘Unveiling – Brothers in Racing’ event at Bangsar's Vincenzo Ristorante Italiano. The Brothers in Racing which comprised of 3 blood brother Mohamed Nazir, Mohamed Ridzuan and Khairul Anuar unveiled the new mean racing machine a Honda Integra (DC5). The car was officially launched by Yb. Tan Sri Nor Mohamed Yakcop
It was heart-warming to see 3 blood brothers are so bonded by their common shared passion- racing and Honda's. It was also very inspiring to see them to stick through thick and thin over the years. Brother in Racing humble debuts 4 years ago was with a Honda Civic (EG6) at Merdeka Millennium 12-Hour Endurance Race 2006 , when the basically had no other support but themselves.
So it is great to see their unwavering passion for motorsports rewarded with the team growing strength to strength. Brothers in Racing now have a full-fledged support crew of 11 person plus a manager.
Their potential and dedication also saw the Team securing sponsors and supporters such as Arus Dermaga Sdn Bhd, Entertainment Media And Telcoms Sdn Bhd, Titan Racing, Essex Marine, Ambank Group, Integrated Logistics Berhad and Vincenzo Ristorante Italiano.
Team manager – Shukri Kamarudin is very confident that Brothers in Racing will be able to cross the finish line among the top 5 for in MMER 2009 in Sepang.
