We have teamed up with a number of industry colleagues to offer couples the convenience of getting hitched, with the added advantage of customization. Couples can experience this combined portfolio of services first hand at an event called A WEEKEND WITH KID CHAN AND FRIENDS, to be held on the weekend of 2 and 3 August at VILLA KID CHAN, No.2, Jalan 17/1, Section 17 Petaling Jaya. With rising fuel cost, which impacts on the price of daily necessities, I decided with my group of friends to create this special weekend so that couples are able to make their dream wedding a financial reality.
Evidently the growth of the specialist service provider genre is witnessed most dramatically in the photography segment of the market and it is through the network of like minded individuals, “A Weekend with Kid Chan & Friends” materialized to offer a easy, hassle free, one-stop pre-wedding preparation and consulting avenue for them to pick the best elements that is friendly on their wallets.
Over the two-day weekend on Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd August, Couples are invited to mingle and chat with professionals in the areas of photography, videography, flowers and décor, cakes, stationery, wedding favours, gowns, suits and event planning. In addition, in view of the recent price hikes that every Malaysian has had to deal with, couples will be pleased to know that discounts of up to 50% for photography packages will be offered at the event.
The decision to offer discounts was made as couples normally plan to get married way in advance and may not have budgeted for the recent increase in prices that will inevitably affects one’s wedding budget. These discounts during this transition period will hopefully be a small relief for couples who are trying to stretch their budget little further for their once in a life-time affair.
