hhahhahha, my wife-y is so cute. But, DARLHINK - seriously don't feel bad. Can't really sleep.

So what does a jetlaggish, can't really sleep, self-respecting photographer cum blogger with FREE wi-fi acess in London do at this hour? BLOG-lah!

But why no picture one? Don't worry. I actually got some quite decent one from my outing to Chinatown with Voon last night and my room after i can't get 't back to sleep.

But I don't know why I CAN"T download into Mac. FRUSTRATING. Will have to download to VC's later.

OUCH, I just saw a sms from wife-y that says:
"Daddy gal gal drop d tomato bottle and cut her toe! Love e deep lotsa blood.She ask what's that? never seen blood. She cant really walk cos pain:( pray for her ya? Love u!

Faith, Daddy am so sorry daddy is not there. But you be brave ok? Daddy love you and Mei-Mei and will be back soon. In the meantime, you sayang Dira and AH mah for ah pa k? :)

the View from my room at Clear Water Sanctuary, Ipoh

Dear All,

News & GREAT news! I have just returned with many great images from the wedding photography at Clear Water Santuary in Ipoh. However, I won't be able to published the images from my "official assingment" until I get a clearance from my clients.

However, what I can post is the pictures from taken around the resort in "my own time". This is one of my favourite:


the view from my room.

Apparently, the people at star.com.my like it to! It is Week 6 winner for its photo contest. I AM ALSO RM50 richer:) It feels great to have winning entry, the first was Traditional Malay House at Bon Ton.

Now, that I have laced my post with nice eye candy hehe - I must apologized for the lack of updates. It has really been crazy for me. After i return from Ipoh, i was assinged to some very NICE corporate jobs. Can't belief it myself. Corporate assignment that feels like a wedding. Great company, perhaps.

I am 36 hours away to my flight to wedding photography assingment in London. It's not funny, I have so many loose end to tie up that the kids needs to spend the night at their grannies:( I also need to have lunch with my bosses and attend my dear friend Winnie Loo's book launch tomorrow.

Ok! OK! I need to get back to work.

Hello! Was just corresponding with my client for my upcoming wedding photography gig in Lymington, Hampshire on the 30th of June.

And then suddenly it struck me that I have done so many couples that is based in the UK, enough to have a party!

I forgot again...

Dear All,

It's funny. I have been "Qualified" to celebrate Father's Day for 3 years now, yet I often forget about the priviledge. Nevermind about getting featured with Darling Faith for 3 father's day in the press. I remember, Baby, I only have eyes for you in Malay Mail was the first.

This year we both appear along 2 other "Uber Dads" (that's what we were called) and their baby in June's Parenthood.

I supposed the 27 years prior to that of celebrating for MY DAD has become a habit. But this morning, I woke up to beautiful messages on my phone to wish me Happy Father's Day. It reminded me that -hey, enjoy the day- you are entitled to!

The one I like most came from Datin Tania and it reads: "Fatherhood is a tough 24-Hour Job: No pay, No Day-off. Most often unappreciated. and yet resignation is impossible! Hello Great Dad! Happy Father's Day!"

I then frantically forwarded the message to some daddies I know, and they replied: NO Overtime, Free Worries and reluctant Walking Banker too!

But we all know deep down inside, there is no other role we want more. On this day, I like to thank my wife Shirlyn and our two girls Faith and Adira for making me ONE!

This year, we will celebrate father's Day with a nice dinner with Faith and Adira's Daddy, and their Daddy's daddy:)

OK-that all the mushy-wushy a Sunday can take.

So, Daddies -don't forget to have a great one, you deserve it & Happy Father's Day 2007!

Talk at Crowne Plaza Mutiara Bridal Gallery Launch

Just received a email from the representative of Crowne Plaza Mutiara Kuala Lumpur in appreciation for the talk I gave entitled Actual Day Vs. Pre-Wedding Photography during the launch of the Bridal Gallery of Crowne Mutiara Plaza recently.

The email reads:

I was part of the panel that gave talk to about 50 about to be married couples. The others experts includes:

My Dream Gown by Anna Lee Rajakumar of That Special Occasion

We were later fetted to a sumptious buffet lunch.

It feels very good to be recognized for something that I really enjoy doing- Talking! It was surprising that I can even stop.

Now that it's proven that I CAN stop, go ahead Invite me to speak at your function too:)

The launch was held at Windows of Kuala Lumpur. IMHO, Windows of Kuala Lumpur is one of Malaysia's "most picture perfect location for weddings in Malaysia".

RM2 toll for SMART tunnel use

Dear All,

PHew! That was a sigh of relieve:) I was expecting the worst for the pricing of the Smart Tunnel Toll. For those who had missed it, when asked previously ask about the pricing of the toll our dear Works Minister Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu actually replied "Memang Mahal!" And that was worrying, because even when dear YB thinks it's cheap, IT's NOT.

However, when dear Samy actually annouced that the users of the Stormwater Management and Road Tunnel (Smart) will be charged a RM2 toll June 14 onwards, I actually think that is a FAIR PRICE. This is considering the fact that it cost RM640 million to build and it really cuts down my travelling town into KL.

A normal minimum 45 miniutes drive, with slightly heavy traffic to KLCC now takes less than 15. And if you are paid by the hour like myself, that is LOTS of MONEY. Not to mention, even if you have got LOADS OF MONEY, you cant buy it back.

So, well done SAMY and those involve in the SMART TUNNEL!
