Just woke up because Faith wanted milk. And now, i am kind of "Quite Awake". However, I think this HAVE to be a quick post. Is raining rather heavy with lightning and all. Don't want my modem getting fried, do i?
So i was thinking, i really have quite a lot of things to blog about. I don't know where to start. Why don't you help me decide:
1) Which gorgeous BABES (yes -3 of them) i shared the dressing room with when I went for my Live interview on Breakfast show?
2) KIDCHANSTUDIO upcoming "Taking Better Photo for Beginnners" course with reknowned photography Guru and Black & White Specialist Alex Moh
3) Alex Moh
4) Images of my recent langkawi wedding - (NICE-heheh)
5) Happening places in Langkawi - ( I want to be a self-proclaimed Langkawi after I got this SPECIAL DREAM)
6) That special DREAM
7) The judging of Fashion on 1 photography contest
8) 50th Birthday of Bang Dale (Celebrity Emcee Extraordinaire Mr. Mahadzir Lokman)
9) the shoot of 21 NTV7 & 8TV Personalities in my humble studio
10) Finidng Nemo on ICE
11) the gorgeous Hindu Wedding of UK's Liam & Premala Huxley at the Chettiat temple followed by a dream wedding reception at the Carcosa Marquee
12) Oh! Happening places in BALI for 25-30 something ( just realized i never wrote about that!)
13) On the Set of Breakfast Show
14) The recent Mont blanc campaign in Harpers Bazaar, which i was given a VERY PROMINENT feature
So, which one first leh? First, item to get 2 votes will get priority to be published. Otherwise, it will depend on my mood- hahahha
*ALERT*

Bangsaria - the building that houses Kid Chan Studio , was featured in the Street Pullout (Q4-Q5) in the New Straits Times yesterday.
It was a collective feature of the tenants in the building.
It has a picture of the building exterior, and of course my very obvious sign. Let me recap, Ssangyong distributor occupies the entire ground floor.
Dream machine's Aprillia distributor Moto Millia is on the 1st floor. On 2nd ,is Citispa and also Art Et Domaine.
On the 3rd floor, it is Hulsta distributor Mobel Design. The entire 4th floor is also occupied by Art Et Domain. While the 5th floor houses the Kitchen Culture.
Lastly, on the sixth floor there is Kid Chan Studio and my neighbors, Beringin Residences and custom jeweller Indochine Imprimatur.
I am drafting this entry aboard my flight from Langkawi to Kuala Lumpur (with Pen & paper of course and not any electronic device), which I have returned with some images that I am very proud with of my recent UK wedding couple Dr. Pauline & Jack at the Four Seasons Langkawi.

I was interviewed by Ms. Mia AMRAN on the current issue of Malaysian Today (April 5-11 2007 issue).
The article is the main feature of the issue entitled Off the Beaten Track - the alternative career track.
I really like the sub-heading, Risk Taker Sdn. Bhd.
I am featured along few personalities that are pursuing very different dreams from the conventional career path. Apparently, wedding photojournalist is quite an alternative career. When I started this 5 years ago, it was definitely true.
But is it still the case today?
Among the personalities are good pal Johanna Arshad (Dina) who is pursuing Naturopathy.
Cavells Restaurant Owner Aaron Jude.
Twinstrow Creations owner former VJ & model Thanusia Arumugam .
Former chef turn Dancer & choreographer Saiful Nizam bin Aziz, who got objection from his parents until they saw him perform on TV for Siti Nurhaliza.
All of us, started in life doing something rather different. I suppose we took a bit of courage to pursue our dreams. Are you thinking of a career switch? Perhaps, you should pick up a copy and get some inspirations??
Enough of motivation talk.On the sidebar, it also listed some lucrative Hobbies that include Athletes, Singer, Actors & Cake Decorator/Baker .
Hmmpphhh... I can't wait for my sister in law Swee to graduate from her patisserie course :) So that she can make me nice cakes and earn enough to give me some pocket money ahhaah....
BLOGGERS using locally hosted websites may be asked to register with the authorities, Deputy Energy, Water and Communications Minister Datuk Shaziman Abu Mansor said.
He said registration was one of the measures the Government was considering to prevent the spread of negative or malicious content on the Internet.
Shaziman said this while winding up the debate on the motion of thanks on the Royal Address for his ministry.
He added that the ministry did not have any problem with bloggers who identified themselves, and he welcomed blogging activities.
However, he said there were about 50,000 websites registered under the .my suffix and there were a lot of avenues for anyone to host websites with malicious content which could harm the country’s security.
Opposition Leader Lim Kit Siang, who interjected when Shaziman was speaking, said the negative comments of several ministers about bloggers reflected their lack of understanding about information flow in cyberspace.
“They should be educated on the vast benefits of blogging, which will help them to interact more with the people. Many politicians overseas already have their own blogs,” he added.
Asked to comment on the matter, Johor Baru MP Datuk Shahrir Abdul Samad said bloggers were very aware of their own ethics and responsibility for content on their sites.
While agreeing that there were bloggers who had inflammatory content, he said unidentified bloggers could still be traced through their website addresses.
He added that the problem was also about inflammatory comments by unidentified visitors to the blogs.
Ahirudin Attan of Rocky's Bru said the move to compel local bloggers to register was effectively the Government trying to control what Malaysians were writing online.
“This violates the Government's no-censorship policy with regards to the Internet,” he said.
He added that the move would just create fear among the bloggers and would encourage them to host their blogs overseas.
Marina Mahathir, a blogger and activist, said the Government really should “get real.” She said the move “is just going to make Malaysia look ridiculous in the eyes of the world.”
Blogger Jeff Ooi wondered why the Government was pursuing this course of action.
He said the Government had already set up the Content Forum to deliberate on complaints by any party.
Kid's Comments: Come on, are you serious? What are you guys thinking?
Hi! I hardly do this kind of emo post. But if this is is a TRUE diary, it just can't be filled with happiness, great parties, celebrities, exotic locations , gorgeous weddings and nothing else.
So, why the title? Well it is because sometimes i really feel like an idiot or moron. Perhaps I am one. I am not talking about situation where i am oblivious of which so and so that I am talking too.
I am talking about what is happening right at home.
Sometimes I am quite clueless and insensitive, especially to Shirlyn's feeling. Her needs and the kids. Sometimes i feel as if that i have 3 daughters to take care, but in actual fact the case may be Shirlyn having 4 kids - Faith, Adira , KIDCHAN at home & KIDCHAN at work
I supposed i can go down the Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus route and start defending myself. but I WILL NOT. That will only mean that I am trying to find excuse for myself.
I dont really know what i am rambling about, but Shirlyn please forgive me if I have been insensitive.
However, i really do ask for one thing. Please be EXPLICIT with me. Your hubby can really be quite clueless. Bee, don't be tolerant of me, tell me off ! you know what i always say about tolerance, it means we have a bone to pick. You also know that we are really blessed and appreciative of one another because of our open communication. So good or bad bee, give it straight to my face!
Malaysia Wedding Photography Pricing Guide by KIDCHAN
Dear All,
I was recently interviewed on theBreakfast Show on NTV7 by Matty in regards to Wedding Photography Prices in Malaysia. Catch the following reel (23 seconds only) if you are intersted OR perhaps you want to have a good laugh hearingme sound like a duck!
Miss Malaysia 2005 Ms. Chermaine Poo & Mike Davies at A Cut Above Anniversary Party!
Dear All,
Last Friday I was invited to the A Cut Above 28th Anniversary Flower Power Party at the Mid Valley Boulevard Hotel. Yours truly had a run around like a headless chicken day, so i am slightly embarrased that I was a bit under dressed and NOT accodring to the Flower Power theme!
The host couple hairstylist extraodinaire Winnie Loo & her husband Mr. Richard Teo are one of my most admired entrepreneurs in Malaysia. I read Winnie's book "A Cut Above, Built on Hard Work, True Grit and a Pair of Scissors" , in one straight 4 hour sitting. The book chronicled her journey from her childhood days in Perak to how their built the premier brand in hair styling in Malaysia.
Picture time with socialite Wendi Anne Chong (left) and Winnie Loo, the hair maestro herself!
The Behind the Scene half or A Cut Above, Richard Teo
DISCLAIMER:Before i show & describe the next pic, GUYS DONT HIT ME!At the party, my good friend Ms. Elizabeth Lee of Sunway University introd to this absoulutely babelicious lady who is none other than Miss Malaysia 2005 , Ms. Chermaine Poo!
The beauty with LOTSA brains is also a CA like Wifey. She has just completed two movies DUKUN (the story of the gory Mona Fandey) and Ang Lee's Lust with Wong Lee Hom. For those of you who has been living in a cave for the past two years, Mr. Ang Lee is the acclaimed Oscar award winning director for Brokeback Mountain and also very famous for his Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. On the other hand, Lee hom is the Taiwanese Pop Superstar who has appeared in a few recent Celcom ads. Can't wait to see her in action!
Some of the other guests that were present include many of the mover & shaker of the fashion industry. Spotted were designers Melinda Looi, Khoon Hooi , celebrity writer Kee Hua Chee, Dr. Becky Legardo and many more.
From Left (crouching in black) Men's Folio Editor William Kee, Celebrity Stylist Peter Lum, Melvin Lam (Melvin Lam Haute Couture) , Nick Neng (Yellow Print) , Alvin Loh ( New Look) & the Rose - Gillian Hung, President of Malaysia Official Designers’ Association (MODA).
The guest that nite was treated to a sumptuous BBQ buffet dinner by the pool. Mr. Mike Davies also obliged with two classic Platters tune My Girl and Only you. I leave you with the recording of the latter.
ENJOY but be warned, you will have the tune stuck in your head!
