I forgot again...

Dear All,

It's funny. I have been "Qualified" to celebrate Father's Day for 3 years now, yet I often forget about the priviledge. Nevermind about getting featured with Darling Faith for 3 father's day in the press. I remember, Baby, I only have eyes for you in Malay Mail was the first.

This year we both appear along 2 other "Uber Dads" (that's what we were called) and their baby in June's Parenthood.

I supposed the 27 years prior to that of celebrating for MY DAD has become a habit. But this morning, I woke up to beautiful messages on my phone to wish me Happy Father's Day. It reminded me that -hey, enjoy the day- you are entitled to!

The one I like most came from Datin Tania and it reads: "Fatherhood is a tough 24-Hour Job: No pay, No Day-off. Most often unappreciated. and yet resignation is impossible! Hello Great Dad! Happy Father's Day!"

I then frantically forwarded the message to some daddies I know, and they replied: NO Overtime, Free Worries and reluctant Walking Banker too!

But we all know deep down inside, there is no other role we want more. On this day, I like to thank my wife Shirlyn and our two girls Faith and Adira for making me ONE!

This year, we will celebrate father's Day with a nice dinner with Faith and Adira's Daddy, and their Daddy's daddy:)

OK-that all the mushy-wushy a Sunday can take.

So, Daddies -don't forget to have a great one, you deserve it & Happy Father's Day 2007!
