Buy an ELITE Calendar and support a charity!

The search for the Elite Model Look which started in August 2006 ended during the KL Fashion Week recently however, the real journey of the 20 lucky finalists has just begun.

Other then presenting themselves on catwalk and appearing in the media, they are now doing their bit for the society. What could be more fulfilling and meaningful to these participants than sharing their glory with those who need help and love.

KIDCHAN as featured on the Breakfast SHOW on NTV7 for ELITE Calendar 2007

For these young models, modeling is not just about the glitz and glamour but more importantly to be able to understand others who are less fortunate, an experience they will carry with them for the rest of their live.

During the training sessions, these young aspiring models went through a special photo session to produce the ELITE Calendar 2007 at studio Kid Chan Studio. The cost for the publication of the calendar was sponsored by the Melium Group, owned by successful entrepreneur and fashion ikon Dato’ Farah Khan.

Melium Group, ELITE Model Management Malaysia and FE2 Productions Sdn Bhd fell that this is their way of showing care and concern for the innocent children living with the HIV/AIDS virus. Proceeds from the sale of the calendar will be donated to PERNIM (Persatuan Kebajikan Anak Pesakit HIV/AIDS Nurul Iman, Malaysia).

Our contribution towards this charitable effort means a lot to these children at PERNIM and its founder Puan Hajjah Norlina bt Haji Alawi who has dedicated herself to care and educate them.

It is hoped that this effort will create awareness amongst the public and put an end to the stigma and negative perception towards the innocent children living with the HIV/AIDS virus.
