Great wedding by the beach at Lone Pine Hotel Penang

Hey All,

I have just returned with Voon with from a fantastic wedding ceremony & reception of Teofilus & Sheila. It was held at the St. George's Church Penang –South East Asia oldest Anglican Church and the charming Lone Pine Hotel. I am not going to try describing it, because words won't do justice. Especially mine.

Pictures later I promise.

We put up at the Gurney hotel this time. The hotel was really value for money. At RM175 nett per night, the room was fairly large with dining table, work desk, free broadband and generous breakfast spread. It also has a great recreation area (Not like we got to enjoy it, but Voon said he will bring his kids:) ) Btw, did I mention all washroom comes with a jacuzzi?

My regret this trip was the schedule was so pact , that we did not get to sample any famous Penang hawker fare:( However, I did manage to check out Slippery Senioritas after the wedding, with some of my new found friends from Melium:)

The club looks happening, but i feel it was a bit youngish for me.I definitely felt out of place with a glass of dunno where it come from white wine.Anyway, i was told it was the preferred party place inPenang. It is located just across the E&O Hotel . So if you are in Penang and fell like a bit of boogeying, go ahead check it out!

I look forward to my next trip.Ms Char Kuey Teow, Mr. Nasi Kandar and Madam Penang Poiah we have a date!
